Coach Ruzic is a proud product of the Houston County School System and a Northside High graduate. Since 1996 Coach Ruzic has taught at Kings Chapel Elementary, Warner Robins Middle, Warner Robins High School, and Veterans High School.  A highly qualified Special Education Science and Social Studies teacher, he has a Bachelor of Science from Georgia College & State University and a Masters degree from Nova Southeastern University. Coach Ruzic is additionally certified as an Interrelated Resource Special Education instructor and Physical Education teacher.

He has coached football for 19 years, and he was a part of five region championships and the 2004 State Championship team at Warner Robins High School.  Additionally, he led track and field teams for more than seventeen years, winning Region and Region Coach of the Year titles in 2003, 2010, 2011, and 2012.  He also coached soccer for two years, winning Region and Houston County/Region Coach of the Year titles in 2001 and 2002. His past coaching experiences also include basketball and tennis.

Coach Ruzic served as the Offensive Coordinator for the Veterans High School varsity football team for 5 years and now serves as the Defensive Coordinator, along with being the head coach of the golf team. Coach Ruzic currently resides in Kathleen with his wife Wendy and two sons, Steven and Austin.
