Welcome to the VHS Library Media Center web page! Our physical library is open every school day from 7:40 a.m. until 3:05 p.m. We're here every day to help students and teachers learn, create, and produce. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions you might have. To answer your most likely questions:
~Students are allowed to check out up to 3 books at a time for 2 weeks. By that time, students should renew or return their books to avoid a 10 cents per day fine.
~Students may print in the library. Instructions are at each computer station. Black and white prints are $0.10 per page and color prints are $0.25 per page.
~Students may see for us problems with their chromebook log-on information and various database passwords.
~Learning device fees for 2024-2025 (subject to change as inventory is purchased):
- HP Chargers: $20.00/ Lenovo Chargers: $31.00
- HP lost or damaged covers: $20.00 (this includes attaching stickers to the case or device)
- HP Chromebook: $271.00 (includes the device, cover and charger)/ Lenovo Chromebook: $286.00
- To purchase student chromebook insurance or inquire about questions, please visit the Smart Tech website.
Please remember to care for your chromebook like it is your very own by doing the following:
-Handle carefully and carry with the bottom of the device supported.
-Avoid placing stickers or drawing on the device.
-Report any damages immediately.
-Charge your device at home each night and leave your charger at home.
