Prior to becoming a teacher, she worked as a civilian for the Department of Defense and served as a maintenance and financial analyst. This diverse background has given her a unique perspective and a strong foundation in problem-solving and analytical skills, which she brings into her teaching.
Ms. Boyd has a bachelor's degree in mathematics and is currently pursuing a master's degree in education. Her passion lies in working with students and discovering innovative methods to help them grasp and enjoy math. She believes that every student has the potential to excel and is committed to finding ways to make learning math both fun and accessible.
In addition to teaching Algebra, she is proud to be the head basketball cheerleading coach. This role allows her to support students in their extracurricular activities and foster school spirit and teamwork.
