Mr. Chad Simmons received his bachelor degree in Physical Education from Georgia Southwestern State University in 1998. He went on to receive his master’s degree in Physical Education from Georgia Southwestern State University in 2002. Lastly, he obtained his specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Cambridge College in 2008.Mr. Simmons began his career coaching both football and baseball. During 16 years of coaching high school football, he won two state championships.

Mr. Simmons served as an assistant principal at Northside High School from 2016-2018. He joined the Veterans High School staff as the strength and conditioning coordinator and an assistant football coach for the 2020 school year. In 2021, Mr. Simmons transitioned to the role of Assistant Principal. In 2024, he also became the Athletic Director at Veterans. Mr. Simmons and his wife, Jenni, have three children: Ti, Lydi and Hudson.
