Bio
Dr. Walker is a graduate of ABAC (1997) with an Associates in Animal Science. He also graduated from the University of Georgia three times: 2000 B.S. (Agronomy), 2002 (M.Ed.), and 2011 PhD (Kinesiology). He started teaching agriculture at Veterans High School in 2012. Dr. Walker teaches the Animal Science and Forestry/Wildlife Pathways in the Agricultural Education program and is in charge of the Livestock Show Team where they show hogs and beef cattle. His program participates in many Career Development Events and Leadership Development Events where each student is required to complete a Supervised Agricultural Experience project during each semester of school. He looks forward to helping serve the needs of our students at VHS!
