Grayson Mullis

Bio

Mr. Grayson Mullis earned his Bachelors of Music in Music Education from the University of Georgia, and his Masters in Music, Specializing in Music Education from the American Band College of Central Washington University. In addition to his duties at Veterans, Mr. Mullis also serves as the Organizer for the South Georgia Region Honor Band, which is hosted annually at Valdosta State University. While at UGA, Mr. Mullis studied percussion under the tutelage of the legendary Timothy K. Adams Jr. and Kimberly Toscano Adams, gaining a high level of proficiency across all areas of percussion performance through solo works, band, and orchestra. Mr. Mullis was also a proud member of the Redcoat Marching Band throughout his collegiate career, serving as the Drum Captain in 2017, and Drum Major in 2018. Previously Mr. Mullis served as the Band Director at Gray Station Middle School, as well as the Assistant Marching Band Director at Jones County High school.

Mr. Mullis's professional affiliations include Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity, Georgia Music Educators Association, National Association for Music Education, the National Band Association, and Blue Key Honor Society.

Mr. Mullis and his lovely wife, Emma, currently live in Warner Robins with their labradoodle, Molly.
