Mr. Hunter received his Bachelor of Science in Education degree in Health and Physical Education from Valdosta State University in 2006 and his Master of Arts degree in Multicategorical Special Education from West Virginia University in 2016.

Having taught in Lowndes County and Colquitt County prior to coming to Veterans High School, Mr. Hunter is entering his 15th year teaching. He is currently teaching Weight Training. Mr. Hunter is the Kicking Coach for the football team and the Head Girl's Soccer Coach.

He is married to his wife, Miriam. and they have five children: Azelie, Blaise, Avila, Millie, and Judah. He enjoys officiating collegiate soccer and working out.
