Bio
Jill Nash earned a degree in Physical Ed and Adaptive PE, K-12 from Xavier University (Cincinnati, Ohio) in 1995, where she also played volleyball collegiately for 4 years (outside hitter). She served as a health and PE teacher and head volleyball coach at East Henderson High School (Hendersonville, NC) for 7 years, where she led her teams to two consecutive 3A NC State Championship Titles in 1999 and 2000.
Before coming to Houston County, Nash served as a collegiate sports chaplain in FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) for 17 years, serving at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA from 2003-2015 and 5 years at the universities in and around the Central Georgia area, including the Atlanta metro area (Life University, Fort Valley State, & Middle Georgia State).
Nash earned Master of Divinity degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS) in 2019, and she serves as a sponsor with Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) at Veterans.
In addition to teaching at Veterans, Jill serves as the head volleyball coach and head girls' golf coach. Jill is a member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) and is certified in CPR/First Aid.
Jill is married to COL Bobby Nash (retired) of the GA Air National Guard, and they enjoy hiking, golfing, and fly fishing in the Great Smoky mountains of Western North Carolina.
One of Jill's greatest joys is working with young people to assist them in reaching their goals, both academically and athletically.
