Ms. Diona Johnson is from Rochester, NY, where she taught middle grades math at Uncommon Schools.

She received her Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Niagara University. She also has a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from Georgia College and State University. She is currently working on her Specialist in Teacher Leadership at Valdosta State.

In college, she played Division 1 basketball at Davidson College and Niagara University. She also coached college basketball in NY and is excited to continue coaching Women's Basketball and Volleyball this year at Veterans.

This will be her 4th year at Veterans High School. She teaches Health and Personal Fitness.
