Mr. Simmons received his Bachelor of Arts in English with Secondary Education from Georgia Southwestern State University in 2016, and his Master of Arts in English from Georgia Southwestern State in 2019. In 2020, he completed a Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College and obtained his gifted certification in 2023.  He is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University. 

Mr. Simmons teaches American Literature and AP Lang. He was a member of the first graduating Warhawk class and has taught nine years upon his return. He has coached volleyball, track and field, basketball, and currently coaches soccer. Mr. Simmons enjoys reading, travel, working out, and cheering on his favorite sports programs.
