Mrs. Lane received her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from The University of Georgia in 1996, her Master of Secondary Science Education degree from Georgia Southwestern State University in 1999, and her Education Specialist degree in Leadership and Administration in 2001.  

Mrs. Lane is beginning her 28th year in education.  She taught high school science for nine years and then transitioned into leadership positions which gave her the unique opportunity to work with both teachers and students.  She is excited to return to the classroom as a Veterans Warhawk teacher.  Mrs. Lane believes that being an educator is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling professions.  She understands that students need to feel safe, secure, loved, and supported to do their best.  

Mrs. Lane and her husband, Bruce, have five children.  In her free time, Mrs. Lane enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, dancing, and learning new things.
