Mrs. Layfield has been in education for 18 years.  She received  her undergrad from Brewton-Parker College in 1995 and her masters degree in Instructional Technology and Library Media from Georgia College and State University.  Mrs. Layfield taught middle school for 10 years before she began teaching high school history.  Nothing brings her greater joy than to see her students succeed.  

She has been married for 29 years to Clay and has 3 adult children.  

Mrs. Layfield loves to spend time with her family, teach, travel the world, and drink Diet Coke.
