I graduated from UGA with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Science. I have been teaching for 28 years in this field. My career started at Ben Hill Middle School ( in Fitzgerald, Georgia) teaching Home Arts Connection classes, and then I transferred to Fitzgerald High School and taught there for 10 years before moving to Houston County. My husband was the manager of Technical Services at Macon Housing Authority, and I started teaching at Northside High in FCS and was the FCCLA Advisor. This will be my first year at Veterans High and I am very excited to be part of the V family!

I have 3 grown children and 2 grand children that are my heart! My youngest is a graduate of Houston County High and is now a junior at Georgia Southern and majoring in Interior Design. My oldest daughter graduated from UGA in Early Childhood Education and is the mother of my grandchildren. My son is married and working with a Marketing firm in Atlanta. He graduated from UGA in Marketing and has a masters in Sports Management. 

I can't wait to continue my time at Veterans High! Go Warhawks!!!
