Bio
Mr. Boone grew up in Warner Robins, GA, and graduated from Warner Robins High School in 1997. Following this, he attended Georgia Southern University, earning his B.S. in Social Science Education in 2001, and his M.A. in History in 2004. Mr. Boone also holds an Eds. from Walden University (2011). Additional certifications include Gifted Education (University of Georgia, 2005), AP World History (2006), and AP United States History (2011). Most recently, Mr. Boone was certified in Teacher Leadership by Middle Georgia RESA in 2020.
Prior to arriving at Veterans High School in 2022, Mr. Boone taught Government, US History (General, Gifted, and AP), World History (General and AP) and Psychology and Sociology at Northside High School (2005-2022) and Screven County High School (2002-2005). Lastly, he has been a member of the history adjunct faculty at Fort Valley State University since 2021, where he teaches World Civilizations & American History.
Mr. Boone currently lives in Perry, GA, with his wife, Erika, his two boys, Parker and James, two cats, Summer and Gracie, and a dog, Snoopy.
