Bio
Ms. Douglas teaches Honors Government, AP Government & Politics, and AP Psychology. She sponsors the Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society and coaches the Debate Team. She attended Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee graduating with Bachelor of Science degree in History, minoring in religion, economics, political science and teaching. In 2022, Ms. Douglas earned a Masters in Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Georgia Southern University. This year she is completing an Educational Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership from Georgia College and State University. Ms. Douglas began her teaching career at Taylor Street Middle School in Griffin, Georgia. For 12 years Ms. Douglas worked with homeschooling students and at Veritas Classical Schools. This is her 5th year teaching American Government at Veterans High School. Go Warhawks!
