Coach Respert has been an educator for 19 years and joined the Veterans High School staff in 2022. He is a proud graduate of Northside High School, where he finished his high school career academically in the Top 5% and as a honor graduate. After high school, Coach Respert went onto earn a full scholarship playing football at the University of Tennessee where he earned his Bachelor's degree.  After his time in Knoxville, Tennessee, Coach earned a Masters' degree from Ashford University and a Specialist Degree from Valdosta State University.

Coach Respert has taught several subjects and courses throughout his career including Special Education, Math, Team Sports, Weight Training, and Advanced Body Sculpting. 

Coach Respert enjoys a lot of things, but none more than showing God's love to people and spending time with his wife Megan and three boys, Carter (21), Isaiah (17), and Noah (15); and two dogs Charlie and Vader.
