Melissa Young teaches 9th grade Literature and Composition.  She earned her BA in English and her MEd in English Education from the University of Florida. She also holds a gifted teaching endorsement.  Her past experience includes teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade ELA. Away from the classroom, she and her husband Alex ride herd over their four children who usually leave home with both shoes on their feet.
